Its a LAW.
I have used varnish before as well but hate waiting for it to dry between coats.
The new BugBond lets you cure it in 3 seconds.
I love the wave barbless hooks from Varivas as well.
They offer a great hook hold in my experience.

What's different about this version?

Yes he has a few things in the pipe line but it would be unfair for me to comment on them in case he wants it kept under wraps.
I'm just lucky that i get to test some of them
Sorry to be a tease but you know what they say "All good things come to those who wait".

See you did not have to wait long
Bug Bond is now available in a Lite finish which is a lot more liquid then the original.
Perfect for small flies,Buzzers etc etc.

I will let you know when i have it in stock.

That's a really cool fly - have you caught anything with it yet?

PS Really like the bod, how did you produce the gold & black body?

I have caught on something very similar but with a regular varnish body.
With micro nymphs lack of weight can be an issue so having a body made of bugbond and a tungsten bead helps cut through the water quickly.
The body is made up of Roman Moser Power Silk in Yellow over ribbed with Black thread then covered in one coat of the BugBond Lite.
Very easy and quick to do which is what i like when it comes to small stream flies.
