Default Tungsten Bead Pheasant Tail Nymph

This is my favourite Nymphing fly for fishing rivers. It just never fails, worth a place in your fly box!!



Hook: TMC100 20#
Body: Pheasant tail(Three strands)with lead sheet to taper and add weight.
Rib: Fine copper wire.
Thorax: Peacock Black Glister Dubbing.
Bead: Black tungsten 2.5mm

Nice bug, welcome to the forum. Where did you get the black glister dub? Looks good. I have a bit of a soft spot for ptn's.

Veniard Glister sparkle Dubbing Peacock Black.

Alot of retailers sell it, although I got mine from Sportfish.

Its can be bought in Dubbing boxes or at £3.25 each per packet.
