Nice set of muddlers there Hootsman Especailly the last one!
I really struggle spinning black deer hair and it nearlly puts me off tying muddlers with it! How do you find it for muddlers?
I'm slowly getting to grips with it as i get more experiance tying but still find it a pain in the erse for muddlers compared to any other colour of deer hair i have, all of which i manage ok with!

Cheers Thorfinn

The hair i used on the last fly was the fine/short stuff and was an ar5e to spin.Think i'll be dying the more normal hair black tomorrowIts just practise, all I've been tying for the last few days are muddlers.Another couple of days and i might have them cracked.
