Default Blue winged olive help

Fished the Ribble last nite and at 8.30pm there was a good steady hatch of blue winged olives for 30 mins of which the fish were mopping up with splashy rises and gentle sips. However everything i put at them was rejected for a natural every time! Tried small loop wing cdc small shuttlecock cdc small klink all to no avail?

Anyone got any tried and tested patterns either dry emerger or nymph?

Jonathan

Could they have been on the spinners Johnathan? As it happens, there's a nice little recipe for the 'Orange Quill' (Sherry Spinner pattern) in this months FF &FT.
