Ive been intrigued by mouse patterns for ages but to date havent really played with them much nor caught on them party due to the time it takes to tie them
Watched a TV program at the weekend Peter Cockwell and Chris Sandford catching Alaskan river trout on mice pattterns.
At one point a local guy showed you how to tie the mouse pattern it struck me as the quickest method ive seen, had a bash tonight simple,easy and very quick !
Sandford did say it was like casting a shuttlecock and when you look at the finished fly its an apt description ! Most other mouse patterns ive seen are much more tidy and clipped but this one was sure catching them fish !

Like the local guy said in the program a bit untidy but it catches him fish. Now i can knock up a pile of them quick i shall play with them and hopefully catch !
