Default Red, Red Vice!

Hey guys,
Following up on my recent thread Red, Red Bobbin's I thought id post some pics of why i was looking for anodised red tools to match my new vice!

After tying on the same vice and tools since i was 14 (17 years) i though it was time to treat myself to a new setup. Ive tied on some nice (mates) vices and knew what i was missing but could never justify the price.

I found Jvice after searching around the net for something a bit different and a bit special.....well i found it!
Jay makes these in his workshop in South Africa and im well chuffed!

Solid feel, solid hook hold and pretty looks but no matching tools

A VERY modest $400ish US including the accessories which i think is great considering what you get for your money!

Default Adventures of the Red Tart.

Hi Trev,
That's a lovely Tart Red Vice you got yer self there... ya may have to redecorate the room a bit and get a pair of Hot Red Pumps to match it all up.
I think its absolutely smashing
Glad your happy with it! That's all that counts. Cheers

I want one. But preferably in plain steel so I don't have to match my tools

Default Pimp my vice

Just a quick follow up, the postman's just been!

After checking out the new Jvice website last week i spotted these amazing limited edition Damasteel jaws that Jay had up for sale.
A set of 6 jaws were made from Damasteel, a high quality Swedish Damascus steel (stainless) that is highly prized in the knife making world.
Machined by Jay then sent to a custom knife maker to be hardened, etched and polished

Waaaay over the top i know but very pretty!

Trev
