Default New use for Stonefly Bobbin Holder

I have never used such poor quality tool, but as an Allotmenteer we throw nothing out. Here is my use for the Stonefly Bobbin Holder. First Break off the other arm then get some Velcro and make yourselve a small velcro tool for those small hard to get to places

I think the whole Stonefly range of fly tying tools are poor quality, hard to believe considering the price . . . . . .

I got a boxed set of these when I 1st started tying and I can honestly say the only bit that was of any use was the foam in the box.

I received the Stonefly tying lamp as a free gift. I tried it a couple of times, but was put off using it as whenever I switched it on, all the other lights in the house and the TV flicked. It now sits in a box in my attic. next to the Stonefly vice that I've never found a good use for.

I've had a few of their tools and they're absolute rubbish. That's a good idea with the velcro though.

I too, once had a stonefly bobbin holder. Really poor quality . Mine broke too. I do like their scissors though.
