Default Pricie, but effective.

The Salar Doubles are my hook of choice. Can't think of a single fish that's come 'un-pinned' when hooked on one of these. Broke off, yes, but that's a whole different thing.

I am not a salar fan ,my go too is the Partrridge code P ,also am using the sprite low water doubles quite a bit.
for big singles I like the Alex Jackson spey hooks ,those sadly come from state side and with the $-£ balance am on hold on those!

I wish they were. Usually only found at 'small' on-line 'e-tailers' web sites. The silver/gold doubles? How about $1.85 each!

Slight edit: The black 'Japanned' run right at $1.16 each.

Thumbs up

Both very good choices. Personally I haven't used the 'Code P's' (like the Salar's, damned near impossible to find 'over here') but several threads (here/elsewhere) folks 'swear by them.' Must be darned good 'steel.'

Hi fredaevans
I got them from Mistpool. A good site reliable with no delivery charge. Prices are slightly higher as a result.
