Hi Guy's.
I'm looking for the tying pattern for the afore mentioned. I have searched the threads but without much luck, and if anyone knows please throw in your views about best usage i.e. river, still water, brown, rainbow, sunny. The illusive Jingler
Thank You Bob

A popular fly which I think originated in the Borders.T & S did an artical on the pattern some time ago and in particular about it's use on the river Tweed in the earlier part of the season.

the flies used in T&S were my patterns but i cant claim to making the fly, the jingler is an old tweed for olives, my olive dressing is size 12 or 14 hook, red game fibres for tail, primrose silk thread pulled through coblers wax for body, three or four turns of red game for hackle, one turn of grey partridge at the front.
march brown version is size 10 or 12 hook, coq de leon for tail, orvis hare tan fine and dry for body, three or four turns of cree for the hackle, one turn of brown partridge at the front, hope this helps, great flies in april and may,
