Default Hans Weilenmann Website.

I know this site has been highly recommended in the past, but if you are not aware of it or have not been into it for a while, then you are really missing out. It just keeps getting better and better. Take a look at Hans's own selection of flies, recently updated, and you will see that the site is worth a visit just for that.

That be Spanish flies then?

A great tier but recently he has tied all sorts of flies & put them up on various forums in the states & on his site, but I doubt if any of them have actually been fished. At one point it was as every day he submitted a new fly, maily soft hackles. I personaly can not see the point if that indeed is what he has done but looks that way to me. They are still good though, that I have no doubt.
Still he had the foresight to include some of mine all be it from way back.
I have to cringe somtimes & ask myself, did I actually submit that one on occasion. still being self critical is a good thing on occasion.
One of the first sites along with the American Ed Gallop to do this sort of thing & a benefit to all as the tiers come from all walks of life, countries & disciplines all on the one site.
His own CDC & Elk is in it's own right one of the classic flies of the century.
