hi all,
What material is built FRITZ? I am looking for a similar material (color Rutland orange) to use as dubbing. any suggestion is accepted.

You should purchase standard straggle fritz in the same colour and cut all the fibres away from the core and roll them between your thumb and for finger and then dub onto thread this will give a body of the same material.

Fritz chenille is made from flat reflective fibres that are placed between 2 thread cores before they are twisted together to make them into a chenille. These fibres can, in most cases be easily stripped from their core & then rolled between the pads of your thumb & forefinger to mis-shape them slightly & make them easier to dub. You can add other fibres into the mix, such as virtually any long fibred dubbing material to make them easier to adhere to your tying thread.
