Default CDC Loop: copper shuck

Another variation on my favourite emerger:

Hook: Partridge YK12ST, black #20
Thread: sheer 14/0 Orange
Tag: Copper tinsel, small
Abdomen: Wapsi Superfine #7
Rib: Tying thread, darkened
Wing: CDC
Thorax: Hare's mask

What would be the closest kamasan equivilent of that partridge hook as I can't get partridge hooks any where near by me.

i dont think there is one, try looking at the fulling mill range or hayabusa they will do them but i dont think as small as a 20

You can happliy tie it on a Kamaan B100, albeit the angke of the body will be more pronounced but it will still catch you fish. The YK12ST is extra long, so a #16 B100 will still not be huge in comparison.

Try PM'ing WCB: He may be able to sort you out with Partridge hooks

Would a hook with a york bend be ok as I have some of them somewhere thnk they had a similar hook shape?
