Default My Two top mays this year

Because of the slight wind we had for the first few weeks of the greens, the emerging type flies were doing the business

And the fly that wiped Sweeney Todds eye with a cracking fish of 4.5lb

Yeah , yeah , YEAH , WHATEVER !!!!

You missed out the part where I then went on a few days later to extract one of the 6 lb fish you had been after from by them reeds , on one of MY own flies

Top tying as ever boss and they sure did do some harm

Nice flies Peter...ill have to give Danny the edge though with his fine collection of lighters.....any joy with the wet mays this year?

No G I only really fished Sheelin and never really bothered with the wets as the wave was usually small but thats not to say they wouldnt work.

In all fairness G I do fish more days the Peter and on days we fish together he often catches more than me ............. ( by fluke I might add )

I didn't fish the wet mays either , was not really a call for it to be honest .

LOL selective memory me , some things are best forgotten , others will surface on demand

Still some lumps there though mate , see can we extract one or two on the sedges

The fish you poached from me on my Birthday ?? See now that's one of them things my selective memory had tried to forget about

Aye nice to see you both having fish all the same.....i suppose a time and place for the wet mays,..ill have to try and make more of an effort to get my wee collection wet in the near future.
