Default Slim olive emerger

a couple of coq de Leon fibres split as tails & you will enhance the fly even more.I have been messing around with Jeremy lucas CDC plume olive & came up with a little pattern that caught up to 40 fish for me & my mate yesterday on the Clyde.

On the contrary Craigie, adding tail fibres totally changes the way the fly will fish. Infact, it would become a dun imitation, as you would want the tails to help the fly to float. See here:

your right dave,two fibres split & it become a dun but a very productive one at that.my patten similar to your emerger but tyed with yellow thread & two coq de leon fibres split as tails which help it sit perfect on the water
