Hi

I've always wanted to learn how to tie my own flies, can anyone help me?

I live in Newbury Berkshire.

Hi Rob. Welcome along to the madhouse, take a look on the following site & see if there's a branch near you The FDG It's probably the best way to learn, as you get input from others in your area who fish similar waters so know the types of patterns to use.

If there's not one, then you can still join as an individual member & get 4 good mags a year + discounts from a lot of dealers.

In the mean time, take a look at the videos on Gwent Angling Society by Mark Roberts, he's a top flight dresser & teacher for all levels of ability.
