Default inventors

has anybody invented a fly like nothing youve ever seen and found it to be a top catcher. i find experimenting with less popular colours and mixing them about, on the dries can up my catch. maybe fish like a change from time to time.

Funnily enough, I tied a couple of strange patterns last night hoping they would be the business, after 2 hours I opted for standard buzzers and daddies

Must try harder......

It is the nature of any fly tier worth his salt to tinker around a bit, but the established patterns are here for a reason - they produce results.

So I suggest the evolution, not revolution approach
