Default Mayfly nymph...

Late in the season i know but i fancied having a go at a beadhead nymph for some deeper holes on the river, cobbled this together last night, i like it

As you can probably tell i like to keep tying simple, will see how the fish like it tomorrow

Cheers,

Graham

Cheers Bruce

It's dead simple(the only way i can tie), a bead for the head, bunch of pheasant tails for the tails, with white thread tie in some dark 5lb mono(maxima i think) for the rib, tie in a peice of cream chenille at the tail and loosely wrap your thread forward before tying the chenille off. Tie in another bunch of pheasant tail fibres for the thorax cover, dub hare's to behind the bead, pull the thorax cover forward and tie down, pull the tips of the pheasant tail fibres down and back and tie off. The end....

Cheers,

Graham
