Snowbee Fly-mate clamp vice

Hi all,

I'm interested in buying the Snowbee Fly-mate Clamp.
Anyone got any experience with this vice? I'm tying flies from sizes 10 to 20.

Hi Thomas,
I have the fly mate pedestal,its the same vice.I find it very
easy to use,it has a great rotary feature,great jaws down to 20's
just a great first time serious vice imho.

It is a good vice for the money. Has a coupling of niggling faults. The rubber O Ring perishes fairly quickly, easily replaced with O rings from a hardware shop & on some the allen key will not tighten the stalk tightly but again is more niggling than anything else. Holds the hook well & is easy to work around. Do not use the rotary function too often but it does work well if required.
A good choice for a beginner or improver.
