bundle packs?

right well i have been playing with the fly tyiein kit and have got the hangof buzzers and pheasant tail nyphs,now i have been looking at a few more patterns but i relised i need a few more items as i only got a basic kit so can anyone recomend a nice bundle with lots of items that i will use lol and who sells them.(links would be good here) as so far the ones i have seen dont seem to have a good selection of items.cheers

Those sort of things don't exist in a form that will satisfy a dedicated tier. There are loads of "tie a fly " sort of kits where you get all the materials for say 20 flies but your are far better off making a list of patterns, what materials they require and then going to one of the big stores and buying what you need.

This thread has been done several times so a search will throw up several similaer answers. If you have a local shop ( and I know most people don't) get down there and have a rummage.

Take advice from one who has supplied the Trade with Kits on and off over the years - there ain't one worth a ram !

Whatever you buy you'll still be looking at half of it in 20 years !

I bought one when I was 15 or so and the standing joke between me and Pete Veniard is that he can have half of it back some 47 years later !

For money and with some idea of what you actually want to tie I and other traders can probably put you together a sensibly targetted pack - remember there ain't no bargains out there and the exercise of picking and packing has to be paid for !

cheers guys,well i guess im not to sure just what i want/need lol i got a cheap lureflash kit from my local shop just to give it a go and now find i want to try more types of flies but as u have said these kits are limited i guess i am looking at a few threads as the kit only came with 2 colors lol and after that im not sure at all what other bits n bobs i need?? im looking at mainly dry flys and nymphs next so can any one surgest what i sholud be looking at getting? any help would be really great guys
