Default Drowning Caddis

Click the image to open in full size.

This fly is inspired by the Triple Threat Caddis fly. I expect the heavy grub hook (Kamasan B110) to help the fly thru the film, while the CDC/Partridge hackle should add it imitation of fierce struggle for life.

Muhawhaaaa...

Nice idea jindra...i do like a struggling fly as flies are clumsy in the water were the fish like them,...i would still add messed up wings to that one though...but thats just me.

Thanks, I am sort of hoping the CDC and Partridge will add enough of blurred motion the wings would be superficial.

Hard for a human to tell, but I am going to ask a few trout for an expert opinion tomorrow
