suggestions

I am wandering if anyone can give some suggestions to an experiment i am tying up, i currently have 2 tied up ( no pictures i have no camera , waiting on new one to arrive )...

Anyway i have tied this fly on Fulling Mill size 8 comp heavy weights
the tail is gold tinsel cant remember the exact name ( bought from pearly dabbler) body is flat gold tinsel under wing is pearl micro flash, with marabou hot orange top wing and hot orange throat, thread used was black.

I am wandering what i could use ontop of the orange marabou or instead of the throat. i would have added jc eyes but i have no jc lol.

i know it might not be easy to answer as i have not listed all of my materials.
i have more marabou , tinsels , blob tail materials, mirror flash, feathers. peacock herl.

Hello james1983, where you were going to put J/cock tie some flashy tinsel on both sides of your fly, and if you want to tie a beard hackle under neath the hook beside the eye take one of your feathers and tie it there,

the beard / throat is already tied with the orange marabou. what i was trying to explain poorly ( sorry about that ).i was wandering what else would work instead off the marabou really. the jc if i had any was going on the sides as eyes , but i only have the fake eyes in small which is useless for size 8 hook lol.

I did how ever muck around with various materials i have and was not happy with anything else so stripped the hooks back down ( thankfully i only had 2 more left ) and tied up an other 2 of my original ideas so have 4.

dont know if there is a fly already like it lol, but i have named this one after my di ( The Sneddon Special ) as to there catching abilities well,,,, shall let the troot decide lol.
