Default Varnishing buzzers.....

.......so i've had a bit of a session tying up a few replacment buzzers.......i MUST stop giving them away!!..........and i gave them one coat of Sally Hansen's yesterday morning.......then another at around 10pm lastnight. So i get up this morning to find that they are still wet......never had that before, that's a full 11 hours drying!

Has anyone lese found this? Is the hot weather slowing the drying? I would have thought that it would speed it up??? How long do you leave them between coats??

Are you sure you used the right bottle?
I normally leave SH for about 10 minutes between coats and have never had any problem with slow drying. You are correct in assuming that it dries faster in warm conditions as the solvent evaporates quicker.

Cheers

That's crazy..................should only take a few mins.

I use 60 second clear varnish, and it does the job just fine, Dahhling

PMSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great responce!!!!!!

Just been into boots and bought some Sally Hansen Double Duty hard as nails..................trouble is, i can't put any onto the flies that i have tied until the other stuff has dried.....i actually don't think it's going to so will have wasted around 10 buzzers that i spent ages getting right......

Oh well, best start again!

Oh yeh, how embarrassing is it having to ask the gay shop assistant...no pun intended....where he keeps his 'hard as nails'!!!!!!!!!

I bought a couple of bottles of Nail care 2000 from Dave Downie 2 years ago. Its as good as Hard as nails and it doesn't thicken up as quickly as it ages. A lot cheaper too.
