Default Sally Hasen HAN

My latest bottle of SH has gone a bit thick, the missus reckons a drop or two of nail varnish remover will do the trick but she's a bird, what does she know about nail varnish

Anyway, has anyone had this problem and what did they do to thin it out a wee bit?

Default From a Google search.

"What is the best thinner for sally hansen hard as nails clear varnish?
This varnish is great but it gets thick very quickly. Which product would you recommend to thin it? It would have to be colourless and without conditioners etc as it isn't actually for use on nails... my hubby uses it to finish off his fishing flies. I would normally use Nail Varnish Remover but they all have tints and conditioners in them.

Do you think he should use a paint thinner from the diy store like turps or something?"

I use cutex nail varnish remover to thin out my nail varnish the whole time. You can get some that are white and as long as you shake it well and dont put in too much it'll be grand! "

There are 'dissenting opinions,' but this one covers the topic quite well. http://www.stripersonline.com/surfta...d.php?t=647040

Well, the missus is right

That's what I use and had no problems with it so far.

Thanks for the replies. Looking at the bottles on the bedroom table I can see some cutex nail varnish remover but it's orange. I'll ask her if she has anything else when she gets back.
