Default mystery fly

Hi folks, guy in my work was fishing roslynlee near penicuik last weekend and someone was having a LOT of sucess using a fly that my mate says was fishing just under the surface,he says it had a sort of fritzy body with a foam head (looked and fished a bit like a booby he said but wasn't one). I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what this might be??? My mate was given one to use by the other guy and he too was nailing them but gave him it back when he had his limit, silly ****** never asked him the name of it, it might even have been hometied.

Cheers in advance for any info

It could of been a floating fry, boobyfry, helmet, nipple or a bullet..The boobyfry and helmet are very similar, they look like a persuit cyclists helmet.

Tullis Wiggle Bugs Sparton tackle
Olive , Black & Green , White & Green , Yellow , Red, Orange - complete with its own snap link. For years they've been telling you these were alternate Boobys - not so ! What interesting actions they have ! Put one on and just pull it ! each £1:00p
