Default Hot spot river flies ?

Hi Guys

Just started river fishing, 6 trips to date not blanked ................"yet"

Had alot of sucess with spiders etc so far not luck on PTN or GRHE which has surprised me ??

However ive found "black" goldhead PTN's have been working well, and i tied up a black "hot spot" tried it last night........................first cast , nailed this little fellow.

Just wondering what other "hot spot" type patterns work well on river brown ??

I've had a little bit of luck with small Montanas in red and yellow.

Sunburst marabou tails and tequila fritz also work a treat.

There is more chance of Walter Smith becoming Celtic manager next season
