Strung marabou bloods ???

Might sound a bit stupid, but could some-one please explain what a marabou blood is, and how it differs to normal marabou?
Also, what does the "strung" part mean?
Sorry to be a bit thick here, but still learning all the time.

They are shorter & less fluffy feathers taken from lower down on the bird, often from around the area where the legs are.

"Strung" means that the feathers are aligned by there tips & stalks then the lower end of the feathers are stitched together by a sewing machine so that they are easier to handle in bulk. They are also easier to handle for us as there's hardly any waste feathers as they need to be fairly uniform to enable them to be stitched.

I tend to use them for most of my marabou work.
