Default "finders keepers" - Green and Black Buzzer

A slightly different post for the tying forum. I found this beautiful bright green and black buzzer on the floor of a boat this week. There's a good chance the tyer posts here.

Anyway I popped it on and this stripey chap grabbed it. Nice fly, would be interested to see anymore you have. Also picked up a nice red one I'll try another time.

Not guilty! Nice fly though. Did you fish it conventional buzzer style ie very slow/static? I've never seen a perch caught on buzzers before!

Yes, figure-eights to keep in touch but took as lifted to re-cast.
Colouring triggering as perch fry?

Often what you would find at the bottom of a boat can turn out to be deadly

Its funny but at this time of year I often find maggots or bread or casters in the bottom of the boats at Bewl. After the fishing gets hard they seem to disappear.....
