Opossum + CDC Caddis

A test of homemade dubbing mix - 4 parts of natural brown Opossum mixed to 1 part of UV violet flash. I confess I rather like the resulting look.

Well, no surprise there since the hackle is indeed made of CDC

Two largish CDC feathers spun in loop and wound like you normally wind your hackle. Sort of like Marc Petijean does with his Magic Tool (but with less fancy tools, since I am darn cheap)
