i think it will take fish
perhaps if you put a cock hackle on it and fished it dry and perhaps it could look like an insect emerging from the nymph

Cheers....i was only messing about,but looking at it now i want to do sedge patterns and a few of these to give them a go, could be a trigger point for the fish.
