Default Crazy Cat

Hi all, been a member for a while now but have never posted before as any info I required I have been able to get by searching the site . I have picked up a lot of very useful info regarding fly tying and fishing from here but I now have a problem , I have searched in vain both on here and many other web sites for the tying pattern for a fly called the 'crazy cat' , I have noticed this fly alot in the fishery catch reports for a few of my local ponds and other further afield unfortunately nobody that I have spoken to can give me the dressing for this pattern and I would be very greatful if one of you kind gentlemen can help .
Thanks
Macjock
P.S great site probably the best one I've come across

there are probably many variants to the 'crazy cat fly', I have my own version which the type of cat fur that was originally used came from the Isle of Man off the "Manx Cat", gray in colour, and considering I'm fortunate to have a client who has a gray Manx, I have a large amount of dubbing from it. Here is my pattern:

Tail/Body all made with the Manx cat fur, dubbed between thread [then twisted to form rope] to be able to Velcro out afterwords..

thanx lads(articwolf , greenock) I will try both flies but unfortunately I don't own a cat but I do have a German Shepard , sure he won't mind donating some fur for a fly or two . If the G/S fur is no use a few neighbours who live along the road from me have cats who might disappear for an hour or two and return home slightly bald lol.
