Default Gold body Willie Gun Cascade

I tied this up last year and never got a chance to use it, hoping to give it a good swim this season.

WOW!!!

That's incredible; would love to see a 'step by step' on that one. Wonderful variation on themes.

Hi dpax,

I tie my flies to suit conditions, this ones for higher water.

Cheers X1

Wink I take your point AW.

Didn't think about that due to the repetitive nature of the info. Many of the Atlantic Salmon patterns are extremely effective for chasing Mr. Steelhead. This fly is a variant (WG and Cascade combo) that are on the top of my personal list.

The Cascade is very effective the closer you are to salt water (river mouth), the WG more so as you move way up stream. From the mouth to Wm Jess Dam (Rogue River in Southern Oregon) is 157 river miles so you change up your choices the farther you go upstream.

This one may work from 'top to bottom.'
