Like your tying there ...but do have one question...why you call it large on hook size 18
Baetis rhodani is ad list 10 milimetres long

Have no doubt in that..exelent job.....but if that on 18 is Large OLive...what is small then ..size 32

Madjoni, I believe that Dave meant by "Large" not the size of his imitation, but the common name of the species of mayfly he was imitating - i.e. spring generation of Baetis rhodani.

The guys (and trout) on the wrong side of English channel have rather limited choice of mayflies compared to us on the Continent, so they feel compelled to create very specific imitations.
