Default Cormorant - Marabou Bloods or not

With the cormorant being such a popular and successfull pattern just interested to know how many tie theirs with the recommended marabou bloods or just standard marabou and if you have used both does it make a difference regarding catch rate when bloods are used.
Cheers
Gerry

I thought the wing was meant to be the slim tips of a full feather ?

For me it definately needs to be a nice pinch of marabou.............. i think bloods ' look ' better on the pattern, but i've always caught more with bou.

Prob. down to the confidence thing again.

For me if you want to take a nice picture use the tipps but for me a nice pinch of marabou or the bottom of a hen cape does the job nicely

I have tied a couple of small ones size 14/16 using the fluffy feather that is sometimes attached onto the french partridge feathers and I have to say that it is very good looking.
