Default More Root Beer

Just messing about. It might come in handy with a dun hackle as a jelly fry too. We'll see.

Yes I thought a man of your calibre might consider twisting your wootbeer into a wope. I should have thought of that on my last batch of olive nymphs - they were in tatters after a few fish!

Lovely spare stuff as always. Is the thorax standard red holo?

Cheers Matt. It's rather derivative I'm afraid, I stuck the wine holo in there for a bit of interest. The twisting thing is as much about colour as it is about strength. The nature of the material is that it changes colour along its length depending how the light bounces off it, so by using a few strands and twisting it tightly you get as much colour variation as possible over a short distance. That's the theory anyway. The rib is what gives it strength. I used the standard RB over wire to give it a bit of contrast.

If you want sparse, try this little baby..
