I like that one better as well Andy..... Do ye tie in the straggle first then palmer over the top of it...?

Veeery Nice!

What sort of straggle is it? I've got some from Celtic (Got it at a fly fair 3ish years ago so it might be better now) and the core is braided and seems very thick and the fibres very sparse! For the end result I might just as well wrap old twine around the hook...
