Default French Partridge Bumble

Just on a bumble theme and trying out my camera after it went for a dip in lake...pics seem ok and came up with this idea on french partridge as front hackle.

Sweet fly. Like the contrast with the lightish olive and dark hackle.

Those are smashing looking flees there. My favourite style too.

Aye old jock mate...it seems my family travelled from Scotland many moons ago and settled here in N.Ireland....you never know there could be a connection.

V. nice G. Those yellow hackles fair pull up the broonies when stripped. I have a favourite mayfly pattern which uses them.

Not sure Don...maybe the light or camera but the hackle is golden olive Partridge.
