Can't help much with watershed but I can tell you Dilly Wax is brilliant stuff...SpidersPlus on the Forum sells it.

I think it's actually something used in Fly Tying, which I know nothiing about, but I use it for greasing up the end of my Fly Line and Leader and also put a bit on the Loon Strike Out that I use as a sight indicator. Both float happily all day.

emerger,

Watershed should not be used in place of Gink etc - you dunk your flies in watershed, shake off the excess then you must leave the flies for 24 hours for the Watershed to "cure". The patterns will then float a lot higher in the water than before.

Dillywax is a superb floatant - it is a gel that melts between your fingers and was originally developed for use with polyprop yarn - excellent as a floatant in place of Gink on all dry and emerger patterns. As Royvs states, available through the Spidersplus website.

It is also great to use in place of dubbing wax as it helps the patterns float better.

Kind regards
