Default A few sedges

I was thinking about those hopefully not too distant balmy summer evenings so thought I’d do a few sedge patterns.

The purple bits should be claret!

A bit too much of an orange hue in this one

A 'hot' snatcher version

My favourite of the bunch, needs slightly thinner wire though

Any comments greatfully appreciated.

Yes very nice .

I also like the bottom one the most . As far as the rib goes , I agree but would not go thinner wire , I would just swap it for oval gold tinsel , will look the part and not drag the fly down as much as that thick gold wire .......

The top one does it for me - just under the surface at dusk with a fin chasing it
