i was wondering what everyones favourite dry dubbing out ov these are?

poly dub-fly rite
superfine
oliver edwards masterclass
partridge s.l.f


or any others you prefer

I like the superfine and oliver edwards masterclass but another to try is
Barr brothers High & dry Dry Fly Dubbing my favourite colours in this are Red/brown and camel

As yet, i.e. 40+ years of tying I've no 1 favourite as they all have advantages & disadvantages. Not all of them will cover every conceivable situation. Some are better on smaller hook sizes but not as good on larger ones. Others offer a matt finish when a degree of sparkle is advantageous etc. I've yet to see the Semperfli range so can't comment on it, but if it's made by an off-shoot of another fly company in the same area (one that uses numerous other names on ebay) I'll not be very interested in it.

I agree arkle, I have both dubbing boxes of superfine, a masterclass cube, about 20+ of normal antron as well as a huge range of natural furs. Use whats best for the task.

Slf materclass cube covers most use's! But i also use hare's ear and superfine dubbing!
