Toolstation do a very good superglue in 2 viscosities @ £.0.98 for a 20gm bottle or £2.22 for 50gm ( part nos. 86374 & 16435 for l/v & 78871 & 10783 for the hi/vis)

Like z/a/g/ it does dry up eventually, & it doesn't claim to be waterproof however I've used it for all sorts of applications in fly fishing/tying & never had a problem with it.
