CDC Puffs

Got some cdc puffs in olive and black, does anyone have any preference to colour. or is it just a confidence thing. would natural look better?
Not easy to get hooks smaller than a 16 around here so used some 18 carp hooks!

would definitely be better on a lighter hook S ?? will it hold up with the cdc ???with it being a "heavy" hook??

hi Bruce , see what you mean about the hook. it seems like it will be ok, especially as its only an 18. with some fine wire hooks i worry about the fly sitting correctly in the water. more important when its calm.
your signature is spot on, i am from yorkshire!

it floats! as a fairer trial i dropped it in next doors pond....he already thinks i am mad.
moved south for work when i was 17. miss the rivers, beer and fish and chips!
Market Harborough not too bad in the middle of a lot of good reservoirs! the beer is terrible.
