Default Why is there no Scottish Fly Fair?

Scotland has always been a big contributor to the fly tying world, so how come it does not have its own fly fair? The British fair, excellent though I am told it is, is rooted in England. Ireland has its own fairs, North and South I believe, and I note that Wales now has its own.

The Scottish Game Fair at Scone has a token fly tying presence. And then you have the Tweed fair, but that event is way too Salmon biased. So, you have a situation where Scotland is a world leader in many expressions of fly tying, but it does not have an event where it can express itself. Why not?
