Default Whitlocks sculpin

A Whitlocks Sculpin, tied by Dave Whitlock himself. Years ago when I first started tying flies as a teenager, my Grandad took me to a fly tying workshop/class. It was held at the Arrow Mill hotel, not sure if anyone here ever went to them. At the end of the day a goody bag was given out to everyone that attended and the flies tied by the tyers were given out. I was lucky enough to receive one of these. Here are some pictures, one of my biggest wild brownies was caught on one of these patterns.

The Partridge days at Arrow Mill were brilliant, I only missed 1 year & that may have been the one with Dave Whitlock. I've met Dave at at least 1 Game fair though, a true gentleman.

Seanie, I could never use, imagine losing it! I use it as a template and just to look at!

There the ones Arkle, can't quite remember whether I went to more than one though.
