Filming fly tying... in glorious HD

I've been having a play recently with photography and flies and my eldest stepson had a Kodak Zi8 HD video camera for Christmas... primarily to go sking with. Initially I thought it was a waste of money BUT I stand corrected.

I am impressed with the quality of this little camera... closeup photography is really quite good and sound quality isn't bad either... (Yes Chris, I'll stop the clock next time ) The camera is very easy to set up and controls are foolproof (I used it!)

I don't know how to embed a video here - I tried each which way last night...

So I suggest just hit the link and have a look... it is 13 minutes long and I apologise for the waffle... my first attempt... 3 takes and a 740mb file!

Photos are more complimentary to the tyer - video shows up your tying style or lack of it!

Great video and brilliant pattern. That bug bond stuff looks really impressive, I must get my hands on some. Is it readily available or just from a single distributor?
