Default Tying desk

Hi fellow tyers,
I'm in the process of having a bespoke tying desk built which i have dreamt of having for a few years .As we all know there are only table top versions available in this country or you use maybe an old roll top desk etc.The desk is nearly finished but i wanted to ask if anybody out there can post some photo's of their desks or work stations for maybe some idea's as how to make it more ergonomic and user friendly.Would love to see what you have come up with, many thanks .

Mike

P.S As soon as my desk is finished and in place i will post pics here.

Here is the desk that was made for me:
A designer and maker of fine, bespoke furniture.<meta name="keywords" content="contemporary, fine, furniture, woodworking, maker, designer, fine furniture, bespoke, cabinet, cabinetmaker, furniture design, furniture maker, creating, beautiful furnitu

I notice on Mark's website, he has another fly tying desk, slightly smaller, different design, I think it looks pretty good:
A designer and maker of fine, bespoke furniture.<meta name="keywords" content="contemporary, fine, furniture, woodworking, maker, designer, fine furniture, bespoke, cabinet, cabinetmaker, furniture design, furniture maker, creating, beautiful furnitu

I'd recommend Mark Rowland as a furniture maker, everything he does looks fantastic.

I like yer desk space Seanie or should I lack of it. A very good working bench.
My wife is always moaning aboot my bench and fly fishing book collection which is permenenatly set up in my spare room she has brought home a **** load of boxes which I have to fill with books and fly tying gear etc as she said the room has got to have a revamp she reckons the room is a trow back to the sixties. There is no way my stuff is going in the loft as she predicted I will have to think of a way of incorporating my stuff in the newly decorated room. Blood Wummin they will never understand!

No Problem Mike. You are right ,,,,,,the amount of gear you build up over the years is amazing . But you know what I still get a little surprise when i find something I had forgotten about. The desk area is untidy at the moment because I'm tying alot. I can walk away from it and leave it as its in a garden shed 14' x 12' that I bought a few years ago just for fly tying and fishing gear. That way it keeps Mrs Seanie Happy...... and that's important
