Default A few bumbles

I’ve been tying up a few bumbles, some patterns I’ve seen and liked the look of, and a variant, inspired by a new dubbing.

Green Peter Bumble

Kens Bumble – needs a heavier (and probably shorter) head hackle, but the peacock neck is a pain to tie with.

A claret variant, I’m calling Fiery Claret after the dubbing from Artifly

And for something a little different, A Leven Viva variant which I've caught a lot on already this year.

Comments gratefully received – If any of you photo bods have any ideas to ‘calm down’ the head on the Viva I would appreciate any tips.
Cheers - Steve

The Peter and the Claret for me Steve, lovely flies.

Thanks for all the compliments gents.

Stormfly - it was only the reflections in the photo I wanted to quieten down, not the actual fly. Black peacock would make a good alternative though, so cheers for the suggestion.

Thanks again - Steve
