Hootsmun, are you sure you're not a professional fly tyer? The flies you show on here are mint. I tied a batch of your hairs ears up last night and tonight i will be tying a few of these.

I just take my time and if i don't like a part of a fly I'm tying i'll just redo it till its right.

That is a good way to work and the same way as I do it as I not been rolling flies very long . Doing it this way you don't end up with many for the blade
I can't see the point in finishing a fly knowing one part is not right , get each part right and move on , end up with a good fly then even if it takes a bit of arsing about ...
