Default Anniversary olive

As it's a year to the day since I picked up a bobbin and started tying I thought I'd post this tying up from tonight.

It's a bit of an amalgamation of a Raymond variant I did a little while ago and a ‘Double Trouble Olive’ that Scratch posted a while back but a bit more olive.

I think it turned out OK, too heavy in the body hackle. I struggle a bit when palmering hen as it seems to go clumpy, I should have stripped one side of the hackle.

Hook: B175 #10
Thread: UTC70 Red
Rib: Gold Wire
Tail: GP tippet (orange)
Body: Seals fur, mix of red, black and sooty olive
Body hackle: Metz Grizzle hen dyed olive (Artifly)
Wing: Jay
Throat & Cheeks: Bronze mallard dyed olive (Artifly)

Any comments greatfully received.

Steve
