Some flies from tonight

These are the first flies ive posted. Im fairly new to this.

The first one is one I just made up, however im sure it has been done before. Not sure what it is, but I quite like it:






Someone showed me how to tie these the other day but I really like them:







And heres my own special duck fly:

Whats the thinking behind the first one?

Was just playing with a strip of biots and wondered what they would it would look like strapped to the back of a curved hook as I like they way it spiked up when bent. Was thinking some sort of mini lure. I expect it might be a good stocky basher, although I cant see it surviving more than one fish !
