How on earth can this piece of roadkill be classed as grade AA?

Aye there are some absolute shockers on there Stew. I think I've only ever seen one truly cracking JC cape on ebay, though I don't look often, mostly because the majority are very poor.

I bought a budget cape some time back from this lot, pricey but it was better than most of the so called grade A or grade 1 from ebay...............

jungle cock

I only use the small and very small feathers obviously.

If you're in the market for a JC cape, only buy one you can view first, either first hand or via pictures. They're big money to end up with a duff, split nailed one.

Aye, send them to me for a fiver

No need for mere mortals (like me) to spend big bucks though... splits are fine if the count, colour and integrity are ok.... I only end up splitting the nails anyway. You sea trout boys are way too fussy

You're right Rob. I'm anal when it comes to my JC feathers, and they only end up splitting after a couple of outings anyway.

Oh how I wish I too was a peasant who never gave a monkey's.
